Unstable Transfusion

Bloodmark does not inherently have any synergy with Lifesteal, that synergy is unique to the Bloody Cleaver not this item. Bloodmark does not heal you and is in no way a form of sustain. There is no unique synergy between Blood Magic and Bloodmark. There is no synergy between scaling HP and Bloodmark. Turbo socks do not give attack speed, you are thinking of Turbo Skates.)

Effect Has a 27% chance to apply Bloodmark on hit.

Unstable Transfusion is a Rare Item in Megabonk. It provides a 27% chance to apply Bloodmark, which deals damage to the enemy 5 seconds after it is applied. This 5 second delay before dealing damage is reset every time Bloodmark is applied. If the damage Bloodmark would deal exceeds an enemy's current HP, it will instead skip the delay and deal its damage immediately.

How to Unlock

Unlocked by default.

Strategy & Synergies

  • Despite common misconception, Bloodmark does not provide any form of healing and is strictly a damage dealing effect. Unstable Transfusion does not have any synergy with Lifesteal. That synergy is exclusive to the Bloody Cleaver.
  • Bloodmark damage scales off of your level and your Damage stat. Bloodmark does not deal increased damage if applied by an attack that crits and Bloodmark damage itself cannot crit. For these reasons it is advised to go with the Damage Tome instead of the Precision Tome if you are aiming for a strategy centered around Bloodmark.
  • Any Attack Speed or Projectile Count bonuses work well with Bloodmark as they give you more chances per second to apply Bloodmark.
