Effect 1% chance to instantly Execute an enemy. Performing Execute increases Damage by 1%.

Joe’s Dagger is a Legendary Item in Megabonk. It provides a 1% chance to Execute enemies on hit, which kills normal enemies instantly and deals high damage to bosses. When an Execute effect triggers, your Damage is increased by 1% for the rest of the run. This Damage bonus effect is also added to Executes caused by the Dexecutioner & Ninja's passive.

Extra copies of this item increase the damage gained from each Execute from then on by +1% each. Execute chance does not increase.

Joe's Dagger has a maximum of 200 Executes per minute.

How to Unlock

To unlock Joe’s Dagger, the player must kill 10,000 enemies using the Dexecutioner.

Strategy & Synergies

  • As Executes deal all of an enemy's HP worth of damage, this item synergizes best with anything that increases the amount of hits dealt to enemies. Attack Speed, Projectile Count, and Size are all good matches for this item. Getting a single copy of this item immediately shifts your focus towards those stats as it is capable of providing such massive amounts of damage to your overall multiplier in long runs that most other damage boosting items are no longer worth much in comparison.
