fixed the infobox and item being listed as common when it is Legendary. added more info on how the item functions to main section. rewrote the synergy section to remove redundancy and misinformation. This item is actually much worse on Amog than any other character as poison doesn't proc it, flask does terrible initial damage, and this item does not help spread poison in any way.

Spicy Meatball is a Legendary Item in Megabonk. It gives every hit a 25% chance to trigger an explosion, dealing 65% of the hits damage to nearby enemies. Extra copies of this item will not increase chance to trigger or damage dealt, but can slightly increase the explosion radius.

Explosion radius has a base value of 4m (meters) with a cap of 8m. Radius is affected by Size but will not increase until another copy of the item is obtained. Each copy of this item will increase the radius by 1m as well as any extra radius that would be gained by your Size stat.
If your Size multiplier is x2 or higher then a single copy of this item will max out its effect.
If your Size multiplier is x1 then you will need 5 copies of it to max out the radius.

How to Unlock

Available from the start.

Strategy & Synergies

  • Explosion damage scales directly based off of the damage of the hit that triggered this item rather than your Damage stat specifically, meaning the Spicy meatball works equally well on almost all characters & weapons rather than being dependent on any certain build. The exception being the Poison Flask, which is a very poor match for this item due to the Flask having extremely low base damage and explosions not triggering from poison damage.
  • Due to this item giving no benefit past the 5th stack obtained it may be a good idea to save a Banish for it in long runs to prevent getting useless items from chests.
