Shop
Shop in MegaBonk allows players to buy permanent upgrades that improve their runs. Upgrades purchased here remain active across all runs and help players progress through higher tiers more efficiently.
How to Unlock the Shop
The Shop is locked at the start of the game. It becomes available automatically after completing enough quests. There are no secret requirements or hidden objectives tied to its appearance.
To unlock the Shop:
- Play and complete quests.
- After finishing quests, check the main menu.
- The Shop will appear once enough quests have been completed.
How to Use the Shop
Once the Shop is unlocked, players can spend Silver to purchase permanent upgrades. These upgrades increase power, utility, and flexibility during future runs.
Main upgrade types:
- Silver – increases silver gain.
- Refresh – adds extra refreshes during level-ups.
- Skip – adds extra skips during level-ups.
- Weapon and Tome Slots – expand inventory capacity for weapons and tomes.
- Boombox – unlocks the soundtrack selection feature.
- Toggler – unlocks after purchasing a number of upgrades.
Each purchase permanently enhances the player’s performance across all future runs. Many players start by buying the Extra Weapon Slot, which costs 50 Unlocks and is considered a strong early upgrade.
