Calcium
"An undead shredder who pulls off the sickest tricks."
Calcium is an unlockable character in Megabonk. It requires defeating 1,000 Skeletons to become available. Calcium uses the Bone as its starting weapon and has a unique blessing tied to movement speed.
How to Unlock
- Defeat 1,000 Skeletons during runs.
- After meeting the condition, unlock Calcium from the Main Menu → Unlocks tab.
Traits
- Default weapon: Bone
- Speed Demon: Speed builds up over time, but is halved when taking damage. Damage also scales with Speed.
- Role: Ranged / Skirmisher
Strategy Tips
- Calcium shines in hit-and-run playstyles: keep moving to stack Speed bonuses.
- Avoid taking damage at all costs, since getting hit halves the accumulated speed.
- Works well with items and tomes that further boost Speed or convert Speed into damage.
- Use your speed bonus to quickly farm XP and Gold jars, if you obtain Ghost early, it is a very good way of killing the early bosses.
Trivia
- Calcium's name is an obvious reference to the element of Calcium, which is the primary material bones are made of. Being a skeleton this is a fitting name.
