The Fire Staff is one of the primary starter weapons available at the beginning of Megabonk. It that shoots fireballs at enemies, damaging them and causing an explosion that damages nearby enemies.
The Fire Staff can be great AoE damage after upgrading it with a few Size and Quantity levels, allowing it to hit entire crowds at once and giving more chances for item procs.
Strategy and Synergies
- Tomes:
- Size Tome - Increases the size of the impact explosion, hitting more enemies.
- Quantity Tome - Increases the amount of fireballs per attack cycle. Fired in succession, not at once.
- Projectile Speed is generally the lowest priority upgrade.
- Synergizes well with the Dragonfire item, allowing Firestaff to apply burn to enemies, damaging them over time.
