The Revolver is an unlockable weapon in Megabonk. It is a versatile firearm that excels at clearing groups of enemies due to its multiple bullets and the ability to gain Projectile Bounces. Its potential for both high projectile count and critical hits makes it a strong choice for many builds.

How to Unlock

To unlock the Revolver, players must defeat a cumulative total of 7,500 enemies across all runs. Any character, weapon, and map can be used to contribute to this total. After the condition is met, it must be purchased from the Unlocks tab in the Main Menu for 1 Silver.

Strategy and Synergies

The Revolver's primary strength lies in its ability to fill the screen with bouncing projectiles, making it a top-tier crowd control weapon when built correctly.

  • Focus on Bounces: Prioritizing the "Projectile Bounces" upgrade is key. Each bounce adds a potential new hit, drastically increasing the weapon's total damage output against large hordes. Don't neglect to take damage upgrades though or you may find yourself struggling to deal with bosses.
  • Key Synergies:
    • Precision Tome: Since the Revolver can receive upgrades to its Crit Damage, this tome significantly boosts its damage potential. Remember to focus more on Damage & Crit Damage than Crit Chance if pairing the weapon with this tome as those 2 stats will offer greater damage potential.
    • Quantity Tome: More projectiles mean more potential bounces, leading to a screen-wiping chain reaction.
    • CL4NK (Character): CL4NK's RNG Blessing grants +1% Crit Chance per level. Much like with the Precision Tome, focus more on Damage & Crit Damage instead of Crit Chance if you are playing CL4NK to optimize your damage potential.
