Weapons

In Megabonk, weapons define each run by shaping combat style, scaling stats, and unlocking new synergies. There are currently 29 weapons, with seven available from the start and the rest unlocked through quests, challenges, or rare events.

This page lists every weapon in the game, their unlock requirements, and special traits.

Lightning Staff Lightning Staff Available from start Summons lightning to smite nearby enemies.
Firestaff Firestaff Available from start Shoots fireballs that explode on impact.
Chunkers Chunkers Available from start Summons chunky rocks that orbit around you.
Bone Bone Available from start Throws bouncing bones that ricochet off enemies.
Bow Bow Available from start Shoots arrows that pierce enemies.
Revolver Revolver Kill 7,500 enemies Fires multiple bullets; scales with crit and bounces.
Aegis Aegis Block 500 damage with Armor as Sir Oofie Blocks attacks and emits shockwaves.
Bananarang Bananarang Find the hidden banana in the Forest Throws bananas that return to the player.
Aura Aura Don’t take damage for 2 minutes Damages enemies in an area; prevents damage and stuns.
Axe Axe Kill 2,000 enemies using Sword Throws spinning axes that deal AoE damage.
Space Noodle Space Noodle Complete Desert Tier 2 as Tony McZoom Mysterious noodle weapon (WIP).
Sniper Rifle Sniper Rifle Get Precision Tome to Level 10 Fires piercing bullets; can be aimed manually.
Slutty Rocket Slutty Rocket Kill 15,000 enemies as CL4NK Fires homing missiles.
Shotgun Shotgun 5% chance from Desert Stage 2 Tumbleweed Fires spread shots; strongest at close range.
Mines Mines Kill 7,500 enemies with Slutty Rocket Deploys explosive mines that trigger near enemies.
Wireless Dagger Wireless Dagger Upgrade Lightning Staff to Level 15 Throws smart daggers at enemies.
Frostwalker Frostwalker Freeze 1,000 enemies with Ice Cube Freezes and damages enemies in an area.
Tornado Tornado Charge a Shrine during a Sandstorm in Desert Summons tornadoes that knock enemies back.
Dexecutioner Dexecutioner Kill 12,500 enemies with Sword Piercing blade with chance to execute.
Blood Magic Blood Magic Get Bloody Tome to Level 12 Summons blood magic; 5% chance to increase Max HP on kill.
Black Hole Black Hole Get Knockback Tome to Level 10 Creates a black hole that pulls enemies inward.
Poison Flask Poison Flask Defeat Desert Scorpion miniboss 3 times Throws toxic flasks that poison enemies.
Katana Katana 5% chance from Desert Stage 1 Tumbleweed Sharp blade that targets nearest enemy.
Dragon’s Breath Dragon’s Breath Kill 1,000 Wisps as Fox in Desert Fires dragon flames in the movement direction.
Dice Dice Get Luck Tome to Level 12 Throws dice that deal 1–6 damage; crit chance increases on rolling 6.
Hero Sword Hero Sword Defeat Stage Boss without items/shrines Slashes enemies and fires slashing projectiles.
Corrupted Sword Corrupted Sword Get Cursed Tome to Level 20 in under 10 min Slashes both directions; more damage at low HP.

Notes

  • All weapons can reach a maximum level of 40.
  • Weapon upgrades provide unique stats: damage, projectile count, size, speed, crit chance/damage, bounce, knockback, and duration.
  • Some weapons like Aura scale with only a few stats, making them more consistent in upgrades.
  • Unlocks must be purchased in the **Weapons tab** after meeting conditions.
