Effect	Increases critical strike chance and unlocks the ability to Overcrit at high values.

The Precision Tome boosts your chance to deal critical hits in Megabonk. At high levels, it can even allow Overcrits, which are stronger versions of critical strikes. This makes it a core Tome for damage-focused builds.

Effects

• Increases the chance for your attacks to deal critical damage.
• Crit chance does not cap at 100% and any Crit Chance beyond this will allow the attack to roll for crit damage an additional time. For example 600% Crit Chance will make an attack roll a crit 6 times, resulting in 6x the damage of a normal crit.

How to Unlock

• This Tome is unlocked by default.

Synergies

• Damage Tome: Crits hitting harder make base damage increases more valuable.
• Cooldown Tome: Faster attacks mean more crit rolls.
• Quantity Tome: More projectiles = more crit chances.

Strategy Tips

• A strong offensive Tome for all weapons except Poison Flask. Poison Flask does the majority of its damage through Poison which cannot roll Crits. Bloodmark similarly scales off of your Damage multiplier and cannot crit.
• After a single upgrade to Crit Damage is received from a Charge Shrine or the Chaos Tome, this tome provides more average damage per upgrade than the Damage Tome. This is true even if the upgrade is only Common rarity. Damage Tome will only outperform if your build relies heavily upon Bloodmark or Poison.

Notes

• Considered one of the strongest scaling Tomes for DPS.
• Early investment can snowball runs by boosting damage output quickly.
