Duration Tome
The Duration Tome extends the active time of attacks and projectiles in Megabonk. This is especially useful for weapons or effects that linger, like projectiles that fly across the screen or AoE zones. It makes them stay active longer, giving you more damage uptime.

How to Unlock
- Unlock requirement: Upgrade Axe to level 10.
This means you need to focus on the Axe weapon in a run to get the unlock.

- Size Tome: Larger effects plus longer duration greatly increase battlefield control.
- Cooldown Tome: More frequent casts combined with longer duration stack effects faster.
- Damage Tome: Longer-lasting effects deal more total damage.
- Cursed Tome: Extra density makes long-lasting AoE even more valuable.
Strategy Tips
- Best used with weapons or skills that linger, like AoE fields, spinning attacks, or slow projectiles.
- High duration can greatly improve the value of Moldy Cheese, Ice Crystal, Moldy Gloves, Unstable Transfusion, Toxic Barrel, Lightning Orb, Dragonfire, and Bloody Cleaver.
- Not very useful on weapons with instant-hit attacks.
- Strong pick for players who want more screen control and safer zoning.
