Poison Flask
The Poison Flask is an unlockable weapon in Megabonk. It throws a bottle of poison at the enemy, exploding and hitting enemies in an area. This weapon inflicts damage on contact and poisons the enemy, dealing damage over time. The duration of the poison effect stacks increases with each poison attack.
Unlocked by killing the Scorpionussy Miniboss on Desert 3 times.
Strategy and Synergies
- Any Duration bonuses: Increases to duration will help Poison stack up much higher on bosses & high HP enemies.
- Tomes:
- Size Tome - Increases the size of the explosion, hitting and poisoning more enemies.
- Quantity Tome - Increases the amount of flasks thrown per attack cycle. These attacks are in succession, not all at once.
- Cooldown Tome - Increases attack speed, allowing more poison stacks.
- Projectile Speed bonuses: can be useful due to the flask travel speed being very slow.
- Any Crit Chance/Crit Damage bonuses: Poison cannot crit so don't take these if you're focusing on this weapon for some reason.
Due to the way it works this weapon is exceptionally bad for scoring kills & keeping you alive during the Final Swarm and should be avoided at all costs if you are attempting high score runs.
